This is a fixed-term position with an anticipated end date of 12/31/21. This is a full-time opportunity that is eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans.

Job description:
  • Develop and deploy test scripts and cases of complex modules. Test designs, approaches and deliveries for performance and automation events across the university system. Identify, derive and document system testing requirements, conduct test events, and produce test reports. Review, monitor and summarize progress of project testing activities. Suggest and implement process improvements to accomplish team, department and business goals
  • Design testing strategies, conduct and/or oversee test activity for projects, and partner with stakeholders to ensure effective planning. Confirm proper version control and configuration management of all test objects and test environments used. Ensure clear and coordinated communications regarding test progress and closure. Report discrepancies, track their lifecycles and provides timely and accurate reports to appropriate stakeholders
  • Work with the other Workday financial deployment leads, ensure all aspects of configuration, integration, and data conversion is accounted for in the testing strategy
  • Work with the Workday Financials change management team and program leadership ensure the appropriate testing participates and identified in each phase of testing
  • Coordinate the use of Workday testing tenants with other Workday initiatives
  • Determine and plan collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to enable success or failure determination of test objectives. Provide end-to-end testing support for internal system evaluation and administration, including support for unit, integration, operational and acceptance testing
  • Perform risk analysis, builds and evaluates quality checkpoints, and ensure consistency and adherence to organizational practices. Manage complex test programs with multiple projects/threads Works with project stakeholders during project definition to bolster understanding of risks, dependencies and opportunities. Participate in requirements definition and review, and lends subject matter expertise to projects
  • Lead testing activities on large programs and/or multiple concurrent projects, coaching and providing feedback while driving day-to-day work. Influence others without authority to make sound decisions supported by facts. Manage supplier relationships and works with vendor test leads and configuration management groups to implement improved integration testing

Desired skill set:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5 years of experience writing and executing manual test cases for custom web applications, web services and service-oriented architecture (SOA), and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
  • 5 years of relevant project management experience, with at least two years in leadership/executive positions
  • Experience creating test plans for manual and automated testing, reviewing requirements and solution designs, and providing test coverage and status reports, defect reports, and trends
  • Experience on Agile teams, participating in and leading user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions, and designing and writing automated test scripts in C# programming language
  • Experience in HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Structured Query Language (SQL), and automated functional GUI test tools (e.g. HP Quicktest Professional, Borland SilkTest)

Other skill sets:
  • Experience with Workday
  • 4 more years of hands-on and leadership experience in web, mobile, API Security Testing and Secure code analysis
  • Relevant experience in software and/or at a (SaaS) company.
  • Experience with Agile hybrid delivery and extending or modifying methodologies, and in
  • Experience within the Higher Education and/or Health Care industry
