Workday Integrations Specialist

Role Discription:

As the Workday Integrations Specialist you will independently work on smaller projects, play an active role in the delivery of a defined set of integrations that meet the client's business requirements. You will be working with numerous internal stakeholders to understand their requirements. You will be providing the offshore team with direction and prioritization on any projects. You will also be responsible for providing recommendations to the HRIS Manager on how to improve existing integrations and build efficiencies across multiple business groups.

Job Duties:
  • Comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as holistic interchange services rendering effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of Human Capital Management and Financial functional areas, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding
  • Closely follow the strategic direction set by client leadership when establishing Workday project goals
  • Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
  • Responsible for Integration efforts of Workday and Greenhouse with all the peripheral applications working in partnership with the integration team.
  • Basic understanding on the Security Configuration and Business Process setup in the tenant.
  • Ability to understand the requirement end to end; both Technical and Functional and to work the clients independently And also to effectively communicate details to the clients.
  • Update and maintain configurations in Workday, including configurations of interfaces
  • Support system upgrades, changes and modifications, including evaluation of Workday releases
  • Act as the liaison between the assigned internal/external client groups(s) (HR, Payroll, IT, Vendor Implementation Consultants, Software vendors, etc.)
  • Integrations development between Workday and new or existing systems, both internal and external.
  • Create and maintain documentation for new and existing integrations
  • Perform full system regression testing for Workday updates to ensure security access and integrations are functioning as expected

Desired skills:
  • Workday Studio experience is required. Existing and up to date Workday Integrations and Studio certification preferred
  • Intermediate experience in previous consulting either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
  • Intermediate experience in HRIS field; experience in integration development for Workday, Greenhouse, Oracle or similar applications
  • Experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware)
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Intermediate Workday experience in system administration, configuration, condition rules, calculated fields
  • Experience with EDI, XML, XSLT, Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON or other integration technologies
  • Working knowledge of Workday integration tools including, Workday Studio, EIB's, Report Writer (BIRT), Core Connectors and PECI integration.
