Job Description:

My client is looking for an experienced Workday Analyst to join our organization and play a critical role in their success.
The Workday Analyst will play a critical part in the continued deployment of new functionality, developing solutions and enabling the continued growth of both the Company and Employer.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Leading the configuration efforts for new and existing Workday functionality to provide maximum efficiency and effectiveness for employee and HR needs
  • Leading Workday configuration changes to support the managing of employee information changes (transfers, promotions, demotions, terminations, etc.), payroll and benefits updates, and changing information in appropriate systems
  • Teaching others about Workday configuration changes to support cross-training within the department
  • Working with functional team members to understand requirements and communicate system capabilities/limitations
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to create requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases
  • Taking ownership, being a leader in the development, testing configuration, and implementation of new projects, enhancements, and interfaces of new Workday modules including interface with IT and support third party implementation and HR vendors;- Diagnosing and resolving issues (e. g. - end-user, work process, security, etc)
  • Maintaining proper change management documentation to satisfy audit controls and compliance practices
  • Providing standard and ad-hoc reporting from the Workday HCM application
  • Workday systems and integrating that information into reports. These reports may include those related to recruitment, compensation, diversity, EEO data and retention in response to audits, grants, and internal inquiries
  • Creating a true Workday HCM analytics capability
  • Leading and managing major Workday releases
  • Identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release and direct regression testing and introduction of required changes as new releases are introduced.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college/university
  • 3+ years of Workday Business Process and/or configurations experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday HCM and at least one other functional area: Benefits, Leave Management, Compensation or Talent
  • Workday Reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Are organized and have strong project management skills that will help him/her to keep track of upcoming, ongoing, and past work product
  • He/she understands shifting priorities, is comfortable navigating through ambiguous situations, and can juggle multiple and varied projects simultaneously
  • Are proactive, solutions-oriented, and ambitious
  • He/she possesses an insatiable desire for answers and will proactively seek out opportunities to enhance our position
