A direct client of FRG has a need for a Business Analyst - Human Resources with Workday experience to be the main liason between their human resources department and various business tenants with their collective business umbrella. You will:
Serve as the main busines partner in supporting HCM areas in Workdays, including Core HCM, Talent, Performance Management, Core Compensation, Benefits.
Serve as a strong consultative partner to HR Business Partners and HR COEs in service delivery
Design and maintain system configuration, including Supervisory Organization, Custom Organizations, Location, Paygroup etc.
Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, Locations)
Extending and maintaining Workday functionality to meet stated and anticipated business needs
Test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday
Provide input to HCM Systems Manager, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate
Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen
Analyze, design and build new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality (ex: Report Writer, Calculated Fields) based on business requirements
Ability to document the report function and design to facilitate maintenance
Participate in report reviews and maintenance of existing reports, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
Create, edit and remove organization security roles for the system and provide support for issues relating to User Based Securities in Workday
Maintain assignment for User Based Security roles to Employees and/or Positions
Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security
Develop and maintain awareness of divisional and data security and comply with policies and procedures
Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy Requirements:
5 + years with strong technical and functional experience in hands on application administration and configuration of Workday or other comparable applications
Workday HCM experience (2-3 years)
Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with HR and IT clients
Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients' needs and situation
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Experiential Background:
Workday Reporting experience or training preferred
HR functional experience preferred
Experience in a fast-paced, corporate, SaaS, ERP based environment.
