IT Service Desk Manager

I'm currently working with a retail industry leader located in Kansas City, MO who is looking for a motivated IT Service Desk Manager. This role will be responsible for ITIL aligned Service Management. You will play an important role in ensuring the success of IT Service Management processes. You should be confident in your ability in reducing risk and cost of service. This is a high demand job and will be filled quickly!Your day to day duties will include:
Basic Qualifications :
- Service reporting, quality control, presenting maturity models, reports, and action plans.
- Lead the ITSM aspects of ITIL.
- Designing and developing work flows and data model requirements.
- Manage third party services and ensure their adherence to practices.
- Educating and training employees for adoption and execution of ITSM practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent professional experience
- 10 + years of experience in information technology with at least 5 years in an IT management role.
- ITIL foundation certification
- ITIL Practitioner certification (preferred)
- Knowledge and experience with ServiceNow (preferred)
