Salesforce continues to be a market leader in the CRM market, but why? Not only does Salesforce have an excellent marketing campaign, but they are trusted for a number of reasons. The scalability and customization, standardisation of architecture and Partner ecosystem. Features that are responsible for salesforce market dominance both present and future.

I am currently working in partnership with a salesforce Platinum partner renowned for being a UK leader in large scale digital solutions. The salesforce practice is one of the fastest growing in the UK and largest within the organisation. The roles are part of an enormous recruitment drive aimed at improving the way they deliver content to their enterprise customers.

The role is diverse and varied, however your responsibility lies within leading the Architecture and Design function of the salesforce team. This will involve both high level Architecture and low level engineering. In addition this role will have a strong focus on working closely on-site with the client to ensure best practices and high level delivery. Clients the salesforce team works with various clients, from Investment Banks to fast food takeaways!

In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate would be able to offer a range of skills. However rather than just regurgitate the Job description, the client has highlighted to me some key skills they are looking for.

Salesforce Architecture Experience - The ideal candidate will have experience working on various Enterprise scale projects. Although a consultancy background is not essential, it would be beneficial.

Salesforce products - High level knowledge of some integral salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Field Service lighting, Heroku is essential.

E2E Architecture - This role will have a strong focus on E2E ownership and working in collaboration with various technical teams. Having experience using TOAGF or similar would desirable but not essential.

Eager to learn new skills - My client allocates a £15,000 training budget per year to each employee. This will be used for certifications, masterclasses and conferences.

The roles are technically UK-wide, however 80% of the work will be around the M25 corridor and 20% in the Midlands. Goes without saying that all travel and hotel expenses are covered.
