Job Description


Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead and provide technical guidance to engineering design and support operational practices for large-scale Data Centre
  • Review and analyse risk and benefits associated with structural, architectural, space management, mechanical and electrical systems and IT/Network in a balanced approach with a focus on operational functionality
  • Spearhead Green Mark initiatives to promote development of Data Centres in areas of energy efficiency, equipment reliability and carbon footprint reduction
  • Evaluate and oversee commissioning, maintainability, engineering and workflow practices as prepared by consultants
  • Work with cross-functional teams in reviewing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery throughout project development


Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Possess extensive design and construction experience with a strong bias in Mission Critical Facility projects (Telecommunication, Data Centres, Transportation etc.)
  • 6 years of engineering experience in Mission Critical Facility projects
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of TIA 942, Uptime Institute, Local Engineering Code of Practice and BCA Green Mark or LEEDs guidelines
  • Recent experience in Design and Commissioning for Data Centre construction projects
  • Ability to articulate and translate technical engineering specifications, construction workflow and engineering best practices pertaining to Mission Critical Facilities
  • Able to travel
