Oracle Developer (PaaS) - £60,000 to £80,000 - UK
The organisation I'm currently working with pride themselves on finding the best people for the right roles where it doesn't just come down to technical skill set and experience, but also your personality and what you can bring to the company as a whole.
Being one of the global leaders in technology, consulting and digital transformation, they have over 200,000 employees, an annual turnover of £13 billion and an exceptional company culture that has been acknowledged and awarded for many years. They have been recognised as providing exceptional, high quality solutions for a diverse set of costumers so you can see why a lot of IT professionals would want to work for them.
Their recruitment drive at the minute is based around clients' needs to orchestrate the migration of large amounts of data from old technology to more modern, new technology with an emphasis on Oracle Cloud transformations, PaaS and SOA suite.
As an Oracle Integration Developer, you will be dealing with Oracle's PaaS solutions with a particular focus on Integration Cloud Service and SOA Cloud Service. Additionally, you will work within a project to provide guidance on good integration and development practices as well as working independently, or as part of a team. You'll also mentor junior members of the team, sharing knowledge, experience and best practices.
The role would require commitment to consultancy work as you will likely be away from home 3/ 4 days of the week travelling anywhere in the UK, liaising with blue chip clients and offering your expertise and technical ability to provide pivotal guidance on their projects. We understand travel/ accommodation is expensive so you'll be presented with a company card to expend all of this.
Professional development is ingrained in my clients culture and they can offer T shaped learning, accelerated career progression, a generous job package which includes desirable benefits as well as the option for flexible travel and remote working.
Here's some of the skills that will make you excel in this role…
- Hands on, technical role mainly dealing with Oracle's PaaS solutions.
- Write new interfaces or microservices for clients
- Proven track record in standalone development: building new applications, integration between pre-built solutions.
- Expertise with Oracle PL/SQL
