Dynamics AX Functional Consultant / Architect - Finance

Location: remote + extensive travel


Our client is a leading IT and business process services company committed to help clients succeed. They are currently looking for Dynamics AX Functional Consultants to join the implementation of the EMEA ERP Template (MS Dynamics AX 2012) in the Eastern Europe Market Region



The ERP Template has already been implemented in a few Regions and EE represents the next phase of an entire EMEA rollout and soon they will start analysis for Dynamics 365


The key responsibilities are

* Lead the delivery of work within your Functional area (Finance)
* Provide consultancy to the client in analysis of your Functional and related requirements, and in design (including any relevant configuration or customization)
* Work with Functional Consultants in other areas to ensure development is coordinated and the relevant AX modules work properly together


What we need from you

* few years of experience in Dynamics AX and profound knowledge in AX 2009/2012; Less experienced candidates will need to be able to demonstrate skills, capabilities and other relevant experiences to perform in the role


* Dynamics AX knowledge per Functional area:

Product management principal description

Finance
  • Financial, statutory, legal and HFM reporting
  • HFM and payroll integration
  • Fixed assets
  • Banking, currency and taxation
  • Month end closing
  • Group netting
  • Cross module general ledger updates (for example, postings from production and sales modules)
  • Tracking, recording, and analysis of costs associated with raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, sub-contracting work, production activity and overheads
  • Stock valuation - on hand raw materials, finished goods and WIP


Project
  • Multi-level sales or financial projects involving materials, labour and expenses
  • Time and Material, Fixed Price, Internal
  • Forecasting and scheduling
  • Revenue recognition and Work in Progress
  • Production module integration
  • Cost management and monitoring
  • Invoicing



* Excellent communication skills and proven experience in client facing roles
* Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
* Willingness to travel for work on the client site
