Methodologist, Predictive Analytics



The role

The PA team builds innovative machine learning solutions in healthcare, addressing some of the industry's most pressing issues, such as under-diagnosis of rare diseases and identifying patients at high risk of disease progression. As a Methodologist, you will work closely with our project teams to source, define and document development initiatives that will expand our capabilities and further automate our project software pipeline.



How you'll spend your time…
  • Develop expertise in data assets and PA products to support methodology development for client projects
  • Collaborate with client-facing teams on projects to ensure quality and efficiency in project delivery
  • Be up-to-date with the current state of PA products and gather business requirements from delivery team to suggest improvements to offerings to increase efficiency of project delivery
  • Participate in discussions with key stakeholders across the team, including Business Consultants, Data scientists and Software Engineers to align on development goals and business objectives
  • Assist in writing stories for enhancements/improvements and review across both key stakeholders and developers
  • Collaborate with senior product managers in maintaining plan integration and ensuring overall achievement of product objectives
  • Provide guidance and inputs on vision and direction to the development teams and stakeholders throughout the user lifecycle
  • Assist in developing internal documentation and support material around product specifications and capabilities
  • Provide training on new releases of product for key stakeholders to successfully deliver client projects
  • Work with team members who are based in different time zones (predominantly US East coast and Europe)
  • Help in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of a release or sprint.




Our ideal candidate: Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in analytical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, etc.), Degree in Statistics is preferred
  • Experience with healthcare claims or patient-level data analysis
  • Working/leading projects across cross-functional teams. Preferred experience in leading projects
  • Working on several simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and/or interest in writing standards of procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience and/or interest in training individuals
  • Experience in developing analytical plans and problem-solving.




Our ideal candidate: Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills. Preferred experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Analytically minded and detail oriented
  • Keen interest in learning about healthcare/life science issues involving Real-World Evidence, patient-level longitudinal data and predictive analytics/machine learning
  • Able to work in a fast paced, evolving environment and meet deadlines.
