E-Commerce Solution Owner (perm, Geneva)

  • CMS Product Owner responsible of building and maintain the eCommerce platform
  • Managing e-Commerce projects working closely with developers, business analysts, architects and some other PO
  • Active role in the strategy, analysis, design and implementation of an Adobe AEM6-based solutions
  • Contacts with worldwide teams as well
  • Management of the CMS-Base Product roadmap, backlog, vision

    Responsibilities :
  • Define the Product vision, develop product roadmap, release plans, including release date and scope
  • Anticipate business needs to manage effectively the Product development
  • Define roadmap/planning aligned with the Product Groups/Shared Services vision and according to the budget
  • Works with stakeholders to identify and organize the next iteration according to business value or ROI
  • Focus on ROI when applicable
  • Estimate the effort and challenge the proposal
  • Apply Agile methodology within a waterfall-based program (hybrid mode)
  • Identify and track dependencies between Product Groups/Shared Services
  • Lead the assessment during the initiation phase of the Product/Project
  • Identify, manage risks, define the corresponding mitigation plan and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary
  • Define the project scope, develop a project plan and schedule
  • Define and track the capacity plan for your team
  • Apply guidelines, frameworks, and best practices defined by the Communities of Practices
  • Regularly monitor the overall progress and report progress to Stakeholders/Management using existing tools/templates
  • Coordinate all activities related to Product launch (example cutover plan, communication...)
  • Ensure that the Release Management process is respected (such as gates, scope, quality, and documentation for support)
  • Focus on quality: delivery on time, on budget and meeting expectations
  • Identify new needs and validate them with regard to budget and manage changes to the projects
  • Evaluate project outputs and assess results (such as Retrospective, lesson learned, validation of estimations made)
  • Present Product Increments to stakeholders, end users to ensure the Team is building the right thing
  • Maintain the product backlog well-groomed, prioritized and has actionable items for the next sprint and the next release
  • Get and validate monthly timesheets of external partners
  • Work with the Team to specify acceptance criteria for each user story
  • Inspect and evaluate the Product development progress through each iteration
  • Make sure the Team delivers value
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Understand your working environment and establish a strong and trusted relationship with your stakeholders; Maisons, third-party agencies and peers
  • Adapt your communication style to the audience and ensure that it has been well understood
  • Ensure efficient and smooth information and communication flow within the team as well as a thorough integration of external team members (on-site and remote ones)
  • Proactively share and challenge ideas and integrate other inputs in your own thinking, develop a collaborative mindset within your team

  • B.Sc. or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • +10 years of experience around IT projects + some years as a Product Owner / Solution Owner / Technical Lead
  • E-Commerce strong experience
  • Experience in delivering integration projects from initial study to production stabilization
  • Technical profile : Former developer or architect
  • The + : AEM & Java experience
  • Those knowledges are not mandatory (but would be a + as well) : Experience with another CMS, APIs, AWS, Salesforce, ERP, Atlassian, CI/CD, Docker
  • Fluent English, French is a big +
  • Strong interpersonal, and communication skills and high attention to detail
  • PM certification is a +
  • Knowledge of Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Willingness & ability to travel (now and then and of course not in Covid time)
