Position Overview:

My client is looking for a talented AWS Cloud Security Architect who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures across their cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, security best practices, and compliance standards to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive security architectures for AWS cloud environments, considering factors such as data protection, identity management, network security, and access controls.
• Implement security controls and monitoring solutions to detect and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify risks and gaps in existing cloud deployments, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into cloud architecture designs and development processes.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security-related matters, including incident response, encryption, and key management.

Qualifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or other relevant certifications.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing security solutions for AWS cloud environments, including IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, and CloudTrail.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, and GDPR.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, encryption technologies, and secure coding practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Proven track record of leading security initiatives and driving adoption of security best practices within an organization.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
