Job description

CTO - Bergen

020323_CTO_LRW

We are looking for a CTO in Bergen to join an exciting and growing in-house company!

With increasing demand for our Digital Asset Management system which is used by 100+ enterprises around the world, we are now looking for a CTO to join the journey and help us grow the development and technology environment further

What will your working day look like?

You will get to know your colleagues and the product, and also be able to take part in the development if you wish to keep touch with technology

Today there are 3 senior developers in the office in Bergen, with plans to grow the development base further this year. Therefore, you will also be responsible for hiring and growing the team, and if you wish, you can also have personnel responsibility.

As well as being involved in technology and hiring strategy, you will also be involved in the overall company roadmap

We are looking for you with:
  • 5+ years of experience in fullstack software development, preferably with at least one OOP language
  • Public cloud experience (AWS preferable)
  • Experience with Microservices
  • Comfortable with managerial responsibilities
  • Experience within a SaaS / product based company
  • Experience working close to the business on technology/strategy decisions

As a person, we would like you to be curious, self-driven, and willing to stay up-to-date with modern technologies whilst promoting this mindset amongst the team

What's in it for you?

Along with enhanced pension and insurances, you will also receive the equipment and tools required for your role, and broadband connection at home

We know that your time outside of work is sacred, so we offer hybrid and flexible working hours and options to suit your lifestyle, but you must live commuting distance to the office

Professional and personal development are highly regarded, and we encourage & fund courses, certifications and conferences at all levels in the organisation

There is an environment of sharing knowledge and learning from each other with an emphasis on "fagdager" or "tech days" where knowledge sharing of technologies, unrelated to work, will be done internally to build employees technical skills
