Mid QA Engineer + ETL

The role:
* Creating, maintaining and executing strategies and manual test cases for applications that use ETL component;

* Translate business requirements and specifications into test plans and test cases;

* Write test data scripts, based on ETL mapping artifacts;

* Execute data scripts and detailed analysis on the scripts and document test results in Test Case Management System;

* Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status;

* Troubleshoot and document bugs and defects using bug tracking system and assists in their resolution;



Required experience and skills:

* 3+ year of experience with data pipeline and software quality assurance;

* Excellent communication skills;

* Knowledge of ETL tool and process;

* Knowledge of basic Database objects and relational data model;

* 3+ years experience with SQL querying and scripting;

* Positive and proactive;





Desirable experience and skills

* Experience with automated testing tools;

* Understanding of Data Pipeline requirements (source-to-target mappings);

* Knowledge of Python and Python data libraries or other programming languages (e.g., Pandas);
