We are looking for a data engineer to help continue our journey into Cloud & producing data-driven insights
Working within the energy sector, there are vast amounts to data to explore related to production, distribution, trading, and renewables
This data will be used to create more data-driven products, and also to assist the consulting team when helping solve complex problems customers are facing
Your Role:
Build and scale data processing pipelines
Design and implement new data pipelines
Work closely alongside data scientists and analysts to ensure a cohesive work and data flow
Discover ways to improve data quality and reliability
Skills & Experience:
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar
Good knowledge of SQL & Python or Scala
Experience with BI tools
Experience with data models, mining, segmentation, and database design
Experience with Cloud and container technologies is beneficial
Experience with relational databases and NoSQL
You will be joining a 'Tech Lab' environment of 40+ engineers, scientists and analysts working together to digitalise the energy industry
