Java Developer

My client is a leading global banking services looking for an experienced and talented Java & Python Developer to join their growing team in Poznan for a contract. You will also be responsible for analysing user requirements and business objectives, determining application features and functionality, and recommending changes to existing Java/Python based applications, among other duties. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, in a challenging and rewarding role.



Roles & Requirements

• Designing and implementing Java-based applications
• Analysing user requirements to inform application design
• Defining application objectives and functionality
• Aligning application design with business goals
• Developing and testing software
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field
• Previous technology experience required in Java, financial or data industry preferred
• Java is highly required but Python experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with data governance
• Modelling platforms is a plus but not required
• Solid collaboration and communication skills - both written and verbal are required
• Experience with JIRA and agile practices are required
