Java Developer

The company is the largest distributor of spare parts for cars, vans and trucks in Central and Eastern Europe. They are recruiting someone to join their internal team to work on a greenfield project. This project is fresh and everything is being built completely from scratch using modern tech such as Java 11, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and ElasticSearch.

Role & Responsibilities

• Active participation in the development of software concepts
• Development of new functionalities in JAVA 11 language
• Performing tests of prepared changes
• Assist in creating technical documentation, code repository
• Cooperation with DevOps, BI, ERP development teams
• Exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience within the product team

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2/3 years of experience in commercial IT projects
• Minimum 2/3 years of practical programming in JAVA
• Knowledge of GIT version control system
• Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis)
• Experience in working with CI/CD pipeline tools
