We are looking for a data scientist who wants to help digitalise the power market across Norway!
Joining an established company based in Oslo, you will be part of a team who create AI tools to make the power industry more efficient and sustainable
Your in-depth analysis, modelling, and predictions based on real-time data will allow customers to make more data-driven decisions - increasing efficiency and sustainability throughout the industry
As an industrial setting for data science, you will be working with data from various sources (both internal and external) with a focus on time series analysis
Although we have products on the market, and in production, we collaborate closely with Universities to continue research into the power market and how we can leverage data to optimise the industry for the future
Typical responsibilities could include:
Identifying and structuring data
Detecting trends and patterns
Building predictive models and ML algorithms which will be put into production
Performing research in collaboration with colleagues and external sources to explore new ideas and technologies
We are looking for you to have:
A strong academic background in computer science, mathematics, or similar
Programming experience in Python, or similar OOP language
Have good experience with data modelling and machine learning
Experience with, or interest in Big Data and technologies such as Spark and Hadoop
