Senior IT System Engineer

The IT department, central to our Corporate Services Division, establishes and maintains technology standards for the bank. It develops and sustains a relevant information system and application environment aligned with evolving business needs. Internally, it ensures the effective use of computer technology and maintains information infrastructure. This department plays a key role in managing an information system that guarantees data availability, quality, integrity, and security, crucial for the bank's activities.

To enhance the reliability and efficiency of the bank's IT systems, we seek an experienced Senior IT System Engineer based in Geneva. Responsibilities include overseeing system and infrastructure management, ensuring maximum availability, configuring and maintaining operating systems and applications, monitoring performance, implementing security measures, and automating system processes. You will also contribute to policy development, documentation, user support, technical assistance, vendor relationships, and general IT operations.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Extensive Private Banking experience
• Strong skills in MS Windows, UNIX/Linux, and Cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365)
• Proficient in scripting (e.g., Powershell, Python)
• Experience with virtualization, containerization, monitoring systems, PKI, and advanced networking
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to perform tasks outside of business hours
• Fluent in English and French (German is a plus)
