Java Developer

My client is an international digital service looking for an experienced and talented Java Developer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, in a challenging and rewarding role.



Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and management teams to build solutions on top of existing Atlassian eco-system
• Propose technical concepts, effort estimations and feasibility studies
• Closely work with operation, support and product manager to ensure system stability and customer satisfaction
• Evaluate, assess and propose third party add-ons as requested by stakeholders
• Provide last-tier technical support for customer-facing issues, analyse root-causes and provide solutions for solving the problem

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
• Technology/Engineering (computer/telecommunications)
• Must have sufficient knowledge in object-oriented programming concept
• Must be an excellent team player in a different culture
• Must display ability to learn in a short time and work under pressure
• Solid understanding of core Java concepts, common APIs and design patterns
• Experience of test-driven development, hands on experience with testing frameworks
