Java Developer

My client is an international shipping and containers transportation company looking to further expand their team in Gdansk, Poland for an experienced and talented Java Developer. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, in a challenging and rewarding role.



Roles & Requirements

• Designing and implementing Java-based applications
• Analysing user requirements to inform application design
• Defining application objectives and functionality
• Aligning application design with business goals
• Developing and testing software
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field
• Previous technology experience required in Java, financial or data industry preferred
• Java is highly required but Python experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with data governance
• Modelling platforms is a plus but not required
• Solid collaboration and communication skills - both written and verbal are required
• Experience with JIRA and agile practices are required
