Job description

Data & Analytics Advisor - Oslo

200722_ADA_LRW

We are growing the advisory team within data & analytics - and looking for you who want to help make a difference to organisations on their digital transformation journey!

As companies seek to become more data-driven, you will assist in designing innovative strategies & solutions to address some of their most complex issues

You will be tasked with bridging the gap between business and technology - encompassing the areas where strategy meets business development, processes, and technology

As part of a dedicated advisory team, you will work cross-functionally with technical teams to ensure the delivery of complete solutions

With a focus on data & analytics, you will help customers gain access to quality information, and turn this into actionable insights which create value

The role can be flexible depending on your experience and professional goals. There are opportunities to work hands-on in projects where you can learn new tools & technologies, as well as opportunities to deepen your domain knowledge in areas that interest you, or gain leadership & management experience if you wish to progress down this route

Some of your roles and responsibilities can include:
  • Speak with customers to understand their requirements, define their needs, and identify opportunities for digitalisation
  • Build relationships to ensure trust from customers and technical teams internally
  • Advise customers on various solutions for optimisation
  • Identify hidden opportunities within organisations data, and bring the potential to the forefront
  • Formulate strategy and define processes
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams across the business to ensure delivery of solutions

We are looking for you to bring some of the following skills and experiences:
  • Strong academic background with higher education an IT or business related subject
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A strong business understanding to gather requirements and formulate suggestions
  • Good knowledge of digitalisation or data-driven processes, and the impact these can have on organisations
  • A natural creativity and curiosity to explore solutions

What's in it for you?

In return, you can expect to be part of a workplace built on a collaborative culture between colleagues, customers, and partners with a true community feel

There is great flexibility for you to grow your career in the direction you choose, and a dedicated mentorship program and training budget to support you in these actions

There are social and professional activities you can choose to be involved in across the business - whether you are interested in sporting activities, gaming evenings, networking events, or lunches & dinners with your colleagues, there is something for everyone (or if you can't find something you enjoy - why not start your own initiative!)

There are active steps to look after employee satisfaction and well-being within the company, in practical terms this looks like flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle outside of work, and the ability to work from home when you choose. If you work a little extra in some periods, you will be be paid overtime for the hours you put in, and the opportunity to take additional time off
