Position Overview:

As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your expertise will contribute to the reliability, scalability, and security of critical financial systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on GCP, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes and enhance workflows.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the financial sector.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to design and implement solutions aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Shell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in a financial environment.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer) are advantageous.
