I am currently engaged with a multinational bank who are seeking ambitious Java Developers to join one of their newer teams that are currently playing a crucial role in further driving the technological direction of the company. You will work closely as part of a tight knit team in a hybrid model to deliver world-class software solutions in collaboration with the developers, business analysts, architects and project managers. The company are one of the world's largest and most respected financial powerhouses who pride themselves on high quality and innovation in all aspects of their successful business

The role:

You will be responsible for designing and building next generation software solutions that are key to the business strategy of the company. The majority of the work you will be doing will be based on developing new functionalities with the maintenance tasks limited to around 20% so there will be lots of new code to sink your teeth into.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
  • Taking responsibility and ownership of new feature development and analysing new requirements
  • Participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle and contributing to the delivery of complex projects, working closely with global teams to develop new systems
  • Creating financial and digital solutions that are used by customers and clients across the globe with a modern technology stack

The company are looking for Java developers with experience using the Spring framework, knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented design principles and database design fundamentals. Previous experience with database connectivity and multi-threading would be an advantage but not mandatory

Please note there are multiple teams hiring and they will all use a range of technologies as part of their stack. If there is anything not listed that you would prefer to work with we can discuss it and match you to the correct project if available

Benefits and working requirements:

The company are developing as part of a close-knit, tight unit and therefore love for the team to be in the office on a hybrid basis. You would be working from their Prague office 1-2x per week and forming close relationships with your team and stakeholders

Relocation support can be arranged and will be dealt with based on the needs/requirements of the individual. We can discuss this in the call if you do want to apply
