System Engineer

Responsibilities:

As a System Engineer, your primary focus will be on maintaining the reliability and functionality of the IT systems.

• Handling incidents, malfunctions, questions, and requests from colleagues.
• Resolving reported issues promptly and effectively while monitoring progress.
• Utilizing your analytical skills to quickly identify problems, ask the right questions, and find solutions.
• Supporting ongoing projects related to the IT field.
• Monitoring system performance and swiftly addressing any performance issues.
• Maintaining operational systems and environments.
• Keeping comprehensive documentation of any changes made to the system setup.
• Upholding a high level of quality in all aspects of your work.

Skills:

• A minimum of three years experience as an IT system administrator or system engineer.
• Proven expertise in AZURE AD, Windows Server technologies (AD, IIS, DFS), VMware, and Networks (WAN, LAN, SD-WAN), Microsoft/Office 365.
• Additional advantage: Knowledge of Linux server maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols relevant to system and hardware environments.
• Fluent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• An advantage: Familiarity with MS SQL servers.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a constant flux of change.
