Job Description: Business Unit Technical Leader

Role Overview: Lead the Wireless and Sensing Business Unit in Switzerland, collaborating closely with the Business Unit Manager.

Responsibilities: Oversee all product development activities for ultra low power wireless SoCs, facilitating consumer-friendly experiences in smart products, healthcare, automotive, and more.

Team Leadership: Manage a skilled team of IC, Hardware, Software, and Test engineers, ensuring efficient project execution and design quality.

Technical Expertise: Serve as the main technical reference for wireless IC and ASIC projects within the business unit.

Mentoring: Mentor project managers and teams throughout the IC development process, emphasizing timely delivery and adherence to best practices.

Risk Management: Ensure projects are well-founded technically and employ effective risk management, striving for error-free initial IC designs.

Quality Oversight: Monitor quality of embedded firmware, production testers, and customer support tools. Evaluate sub-contractors and IP providers for technical excellence.

Collaboration: Interact with FAE/Sales teams, providing necessary support materials and documentation for successful product launches and customer relationships.

Technology Roadmap: Develop and own the technology roadmap for the BU, benchmarking against competition, and engaging with research institutes for portfolio enrichment.

Representation: Represent BU's technologies and products to customers and events alongside the BU Leader.
