The Company

I am currently engaged with a Global FinTech company who are investing heavily into their development teams to help create some of the most unique security software solutions on the market. They are creating software that currently has no competitors on the market so you will be involved in a very innovative project and adding new features as they are still in the process of developing these solutions. They have offices in Katowice and Warsaw in Poland and serve around 38 million customers worldwide from general public to corporate clients and financial institutions.



Role Overview and Tech stack

Working in a role as a Java Developer you will help develop next generation software solutions within the Cybersecurity area. The project will be used to support teams work on finding vulnerabilities and gaps in their security, gather relevant information and process it to keep their systems safe from external threats. This is a complete rewrite of an old system written in .NET to Java with a modern tech stack.

You will be working with Java 11, Spring MVC, Kafka, Microsoft Azure, Spark, Elastic Search, Microservices and they also have space to experiment with new technologies



Working patterns

This organisation has offices in Katowice and Warsaw and work on a hybrid basis. Your presence will be required in the office 1-2x per month and you can work to flexible hours - starting between 7-9am and finishing between 3-5pm

This particular team require your presence in their Katowice office



Candidate requirements

The perfect candidate will be an organised person with great time management skills and full working proficiency in English. Furthermore, the company are looking for developers who don't avoid challenging tasks and encourage their employees to bring new ideas to the table - they are very forward-thinking with their ideas and they want to bring someone on board who can contribute to the success of the team
