Data Scientist - Oslo


We are looking for a data scientist to help continue the journey of digitalising the education industry!

With products used by schools across Norway, and Universities around the world, the data & insights you provide will impact millions of users globally

You will join an established data department, consisting of engineers, scientists, and analysts, where you will report into the Head of Data

As part of a flat & cross-functional team, you can be involved in helping to shape the future of the team, and have your input on strategic decisions

Within your role, you will develop analytical models and tools which will help to advance the education industry, and allow academic institutes to become more data-driven

You will be working with large volumes of data from various sources gathered over the past 3 decades, and use this to produce meaningful insights which customers can act on and derive value from

Some of the skills & experiences we are looking for you to bring include:
  • A strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field
  • Proficiency in Python, and experience writing production-grade code
  • Experience or familiarity with technologies such as SQL, Apache Spark, PyTorch, Databricks, AWS
  • You have an analytical mindset, and enjoy solving open-ended problems
