Azure Platform Engineer

Join a dynamic cloud platform team and contribute to the delivery of an advanced cloud platform (built on Azure) in the development teams to drive business value. Seeking an individual who possesses technical expertise and is passionate about playing a pivotal role within the Azure cloud team.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain platform capabilities for fast and reliable software development.
• Set up monitoring and automated incident resolution for the platform.
• Guide development teams for efficient operations and solutions.
• Propose, implement, and oversee enhancements.
• Provide technical insights for cloud services and best practices.
• Lead engineering best practices adoption for quality and efficiency.
• Improve processes and efficiency within the platform.
• Monitor platform metrics and trends, offering insights and forecasts.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in build management and continuous integration tools and workflows.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, git, and Terraform.
• Profound knowledge of the Azure cloud ecosystem.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Azure certifications would be advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comprehension of Azure operational and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Azure's Platform as a Service product, including App Service Environment and API Management.
• Understanding of Azure security offerings, particularly Defender for Cloud.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Identity and Access Management solutions.
• Experience with Bicep or related technologies.
• Exposure to Agile or Kanban methodologies.
