Job Description

We seek an experienced and motivated Vice President (VP) of Marketing to lead and oversee the Marketing department at a health and fitness e-commerce company. As the VP of Marketing, you will develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness, set current and long-term goals for internal teams, and design and review the Marketing department's budget. In this role, you will report directly to the CEO, significantly shaping the company's strategic planning.

Role & Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness

- Set current and long-term goals for internal teams responsible for marketing activities

- Design and review the Marketing department's budget

- Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies

- Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary

- Prioritise marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly

- Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO

- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth

- Provide guidance and ideas to organize influential marketing events

- Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department

- Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company's objectives

- Track competitor's activities, specifically within the muscle supplement industry

Skills & Qualifications

- Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director, or other senior role in the marketing field

- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns, specifically within the fitness supplement industry

- Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and Google Ad Words

- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques

- Strong leadership skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong analytic and project management skills

- Strategic mindset with the ability to make difficult decisions

- A bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a relevant field
