AWS Cloud Architect - Finland

As we continue to expand our cloud offerings, we are seeking an exceptional Cloud Architect with AWS expertise to help drive our cloud transformation journey.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures for various projects and applications.
• Assess existing infrastructure and recommend improvements to optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Create and maintain documentation for architecture, design decisions, and best practices for AWS implementations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to continuously improve our cloud offerings.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
• Conduct performance analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of AWS resources.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, with a focus on AWS, and a strong understanding of other cloud platforms.
• Demonstrable expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native applications and services using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others.
• Deep knowledge of AWS networking, security, IAM, VPC, and other core services.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture patterns and best practices for scalability, performance, and high availability.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization techniques and strategies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.
• Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Background in working with large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
