More About the Role:
  • You will identify and qualify new prime business that aligns to our Core Competencies.
  • Develop, organize, and manage business development activities within your assigned civilian agency.
  • Bring qualified opportunities through the milestone process and position us with customer by understanding their key challenges, top priorities, and goals and working closely with our top solution architects to solve them.
  • Understand competitors' position for each opportunity and determine strengths and weaknesses for each.




Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for identifying and winning new business with Federal Financial market ( Department of Treasury/IRS, Federal Reserve, FDIC, SEC, FRTIB, PBGC, etc.,)
  • Develop, maintain, and continually progress pipeline of strategically relevant business opportunities through the milestone (gate review) process.
  • Work with internal solutioning organizations to ensure we are solving new customers greatest challenges




You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree; preferably in Engineering/Science disciplines or in Business related fields
  • 7+ years of experience selling IT services to the Federal Government with a focus on Civilian Agencies and emphasis within Federal Financial market in the areas of software development, analytics and IT Infrastructure/ Cloud type of IT services
  • Bring a passion and desire to break into new accounts
  • Be comfortable cold calling and must be able to build relationships very quickly
  • Won at least 1 prime new business IT services deal in white space account where candidate was completely responsible for everything from identification to qualify to close
  • Highly motivated team player who brings unmatched passion to win, learn and grow within a Fortune 500
  • Track record of taking deals from identification (cold calls/networking) to qualification to close/won.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute the business development function with minimum supervision.
  • Strong written and oral communication
