Network Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure network design, implementation, testing, security, managing and maintenance of proposed system.


Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the infrastructure network design, implementation, testing, security, managing and maintenance of proposed system.
• Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor's support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.
• Manage and lead post sales projects for network implementation.
• Provide technical documentation support to Project & Solutions Teams, as well as hand over as-built system documentation to Maintenance support team
• Participating and providing technical support in network-related projects, installation and setting up of network system(s) and ensuring projects completed within time, scope and budget.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant Diploma or Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or relevant field with network certification in CCNA/CCNP
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in configuring and administering routers and switches (e.g. Cisco routers and switches, etc), firewall products (e.g. CheckPoint, FortiGate, Cisco ASA & Firepower.)
• Good understanding of network system, network architecture, routing, switching, firewall and security
• Network certifications such as CCNA is required; CCNP is an added advantage.
• Security certification such as PCNSE/CCSA/NSE 4 is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of strong experience with in-depth hands-on in Network devices (such as Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.) or equivalent products.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in a multi-tasking, fast-paced and complex work environment.
• Good communication skill, positive attitude, team player, resourceful and resolve problems independently.
