A leading global data and AI-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role focuses on delivery leadership, orchestration, and proactive risk management - coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning technical outcomes with business strategy. The successful candidate will act as the vital bridge between business and technology stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of projects, fostering collaboration, and driving high standards of delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
  Lead the delivery of GCP-based data platform initiatives, ensuring milestones and outcomes align with strategic goals.
• 
  
  Orchestrate and coordinate teams including data engineers, architects, QA, and DevOps.
• 
  
  Plan and execute project phases (design, development, testing, deployment), ensuring readiness of environments.
• 
  
  Champion Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices while maintaining velocity and quality.
• 
  
  Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively surface risks.
• 
  
  Support technical roadmaps in collaboration with platform architects.
• 
  
  Oversee compliance with delivery governance, data quality, and GCP frameworks.
• 
  
  Mentor team members and promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and knowledge sharing.

Key Requirements:

• 
  
  Strong experience in technology delivery, data engineering, BI, or data architecture.
• 
  
  Good experience as a Delivery Lead or Technical Lead for cloud data projects (GCP preferred).
• 
  
  Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery practices.
• 
  
  Familiarity with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
• 
  
  Understanding of modern data architecture (ETL/ELT, data lakehouse, star/snowflake schemas).
• 
  
  Awareness of data governance and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, RBAC).
• 
  
  Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
