DevOps Engineer

Our client seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in the Information Technology and Services industry. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, automating, and maintaining the systems and processes that support our software development and infrastructure operations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, possesses strong communication skills, and is passionate about optimizing systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other cross-functional teams to design and implement highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Automate end-to-end deployment and management processes using industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement security and compliance best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, and implement proactive measures to optimize performance.
• Continuously improve processes and systems through automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and stability.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
• Certification in DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
