Due to development of greenfield fintech product from scratch, we are currently looking to expand the Data team by adding a newly created headcount of &lt;strong&gt;Senior&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;strong&gt;Data Engineer&lt;/strong&gt;. This role will be involved in enterprise level data processing system and data warehouses on cloud platform.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Responsibilities:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop, construct, test and maintain data architectures such as databases, data warehouses and large-scale data processing systems&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Architect, build, and deploy new data models that provide intuitive analytics across the business&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Recommend and implement ways to improve data quality, reliability, flexibility and efficiency&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Leverage on variety of programming languages and data crawling/processing tools to make raw data clean and highly available for use in descriptive and predictive modelling&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ensure data, data assets and data catalog are organized and stored in an efficient way so that information is easy to access and retrieve&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Perform application server upgrades as and when necessary&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Key Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information System or equivalent&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ability to write clean, structured, and high performance SQL and Python code&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Strong knowledge in Google Cloud Platform, ETL and Big Data tools&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Some experience in database and application server management will be advantageous&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Enthusiastic individual that is constantly looking forward to learn new technologies&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;div&gt;This is a permanent role with competitive remuneration package, and amazing opportunity to gain exposure to large enterprise level projects.
