Cloud Engineer

Our client is a start up SI Company looking for an aspire and ambitious Cloud Engineer to join their young and dynamics team to overlook the cloud infrastructure projects.



Responsibilities:

• Design the best valued Cloud solutions, work out the solution proposals and conduct solution presentations for customers;
• ConductProof-of-Value (PoV) and demonstrations to fulfill different customer perspectives;
• Provide project solution design, deployment plan, project documentation, training and incident support report throughout project implementation cycle;
• Install, implement & deploy different Cloud solutions to corporate and institutional end-customers;
• Provide technical support to customers after project implementation and deployment;

Basic Networking Requirements

• Basic troubleshooting to resolve straightforward Linux and network related technical problems.
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity problems across the different layers of the OSI model from the Linux stand point of view using tools like ping, traceroute, ifconfig, tcpdump, etc.
• Basic understanding of Networking fundamentals like CIDR notations, OSI model, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSH, TCP, routing, switching, subnets, ACLs, NAT

AWS/Azure Cloud Requirements

• Troubleshooting on AWS/Azure EC2/VM os and networking issue
• Perform basic administration tasks and initial troubleshooting of different Linux distributions.
• Knowledge of the most common OS logs used for troubleshooting problems.
• Troubleshooting of disk space issues and knowledge of the administrative tasks required to address these problems.
• High level understanding of security in Linux (filesystem permissions, etc), may have experience managing users and groups.
• Have experience installing software using the different package managers
• Basic understanding of applications such as Apache, NginX, MySQL, etc.

Others

• 2+ year of experience OR equivalent experience in a technical position
• Experience in RedHat OS is a plus
• Experience in Automation tools such as ansible, terraform and cloud formation is a plus
