Senior Engineer (Java, Microservices)

Job Description

My client is a leading global technology products and solutions provider. They're now hiring experienced Java candidates to work on banking projects!

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, support and evolve digital applications and API's
• Deliver projects for digital transformation initiatives
• Own, research and recommend new solutions to meet project defined business and technical requirements
• Ensure the implementation of defined architecture and infrastructure standards and strategic directions
• Collaborate with solution team and oversee the system development and implementation
• Experiment with new tools and technologies ensuring the solutions stay relevant

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information System or other related disciplines
• 4~6 years of full-stack development in backend & frontend application - Java, Spring, Hibernate, Rest API, JSON/XML, SQL, React, Cordova, DevOps (Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, UCD, Docker)
• Experience in cloud native solution development / microservices architecture design & development is preferred
• Experience in DevOps CI/CD pipeline configuration is preferred
• Exposure to no-SQL data stores like MongoDB and Elastic Search
• Knowledge in Kubernetes / container technology is a plus
• Knowledge in Kafka Stream Processing is a plus
• Strong communication skill, proficient in English & Chinese
