Senior Technical Project Manager

My client is a leading multinational software engineer firm who offers the full spectrum of enterprise technology solutions that drive business change for customers the world over. They plan and lead IT projects in our delivery teams by having chosen a new agile mode of working with a mindset around time-boxed delivery of solutions, empowerment of interdisciplinary teams and close collaboration throughout the whole software development process.


Role & Responsibilities

• Run the project in our delivery teams, where innovation for our clients is your daily business
• Escalate and track impediments, but also manage risks and dependencies
• Coach team and Scrum Masters as Release Train Engineer
• Think different, but still deliver sustainable and innovative solutions
• Smoothly embed third party software into our existing environment
• Push things forward to deliver our solutions in time and budget
• Keep your colleagues up to date and create an environment of trust and collaboration

Skills & Qualifications

• University degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Min. 5 years of technical project management experience in investment banking, wealth management and mobile/e-banking area is preferred
• Solid hands-on experience with Java
• Able to prioritize multiple demands, report timely for progress and risk of the EoL (End of life) program
• Proactive and self starter to drive technical topics while interacting and influencing with multiple internal and external technical stakeholders (Software Architect, DBA, BA, integrator, other PMs)
• Good understanding of how to execute a non-functional technical upgrade in parallel with other functional upgrade on the same enterprise platform
• Experience working in an agile environment and already dealt with mid-size projects and external vendors
• Great interest in innovative collaboration models and shaping the future of IT and banking
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC
• Working experience in SAFe, SAFe certification is a plus
• Experience on database migration to the cloud
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in both Chinese and English
