Staff Software Engineer

Our client is the world's largest fan platform in the entertainment and gaming sector. They are rapidly growing and are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their team. You will be passionate about solving business problems on a large scale. This role is 100% remote and the company offer a great benefits package.

Role & Responsibilities

• You will be reporting to the Director of Software Engineering.
• You will be participating in end-to-end app and feature design process, eventually leading this.
• You will be collaborating with your team to solve and implement the best processes.
• You will be sharing your expert knowledge with other members of your team.
• You will be offering mentorship to the junior colleagues on your team.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in web development is essential.
• Strong ability to code in one or more of these languages (JavaScript, PHP, Java)
• Interested in learning new technologies is essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• You will be passionate about delivering well written, testable and secure code.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable but not essential.
