Cloud and Server Administrator, Zurich, French or German speaker



In this role, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimising our server and cloud environment, along with the applications running on it, to ensure smooth operations. If you have a strong background in server administration, cloud technologies, and IT security.

Responsibilities:

Management and maintenance of server and cloud infrastructure in accordance with established standards and best practices.

Accountability for business applications installed on the servers.

Implementation and configuration of new servers, virtual machines, and cloud resources in collaboration with providers.

Conducting regular system monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.

Ensuring data security, backups, and disaster recovery measures.

Close collaboration with internal and external teams to execute projects and resolve technical challenges.

Identifying areas for improvement and developing optimization strategies.

Participation in other areas such as client and network support.

Requirements:

Completed education or degree in computer science, information technology, or a related qualification.

Proven professional experience in server administration and cloud management.

Strong knowledge of configuring and managing Windows servers and, if possible, Linux.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Understanding of network technologies and IT security concepts.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Optional: Experience with clients and networks.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
