Job Description:

We are currently seeking an IT System Support professional to assist one of our long-standing clients, with whom we share a sustainable, long-term partnership. As an IT System Support, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining software used for receiving satellite images. Your work will be based on the customer's site, located on the outskirts of Brussels, ensuring close proximity to operations.

In concrete terms, your responsibilities include:

• Installing software and IT infrastructure components.
• Implementing occasional updates.
• Maintaining a logbook and preparing reports.
• Identifying and rectifying problems.
• Engaging in regular communication with various European centers.

In essence, you will carry out user support activities within the framework of a Service Level Agreement (SLA). Don't worry; we will provide you with the necessary training on the IT infrastructure and software to equip you with the required knowledge.

The Team:

You will be joining a team of two IT-oriented professionals. The team enjoys a positive atmosphere, making a positive personality an essential requirement for this role.

Candidate Profile:

As an IT System Support, you should possess:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science and systems or a relevant degree with at least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of electronics.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in virtualization (VMware, vSphere, Charon AXP, Virtual Connect Architecture), PC hardware diagnostics, and scripting (Python).
• Good command of technical English (B1).
• An interest in the space sector 🧑‍🚀 and environmental issues 🌍.
