IoT Engineer - Permanent - Hybrid - Stockholm.
I'm currently working with a Stockholm-based company set to enable the transition to a renewables-based power system. Traditional renewable power grids are intermittant and historically unreliable by nature. The wind doesn't always blow, the sun doesn't always shine, and if the frequency deviates by as little as 2% from 50 HZ, major damage can be caused to the infrastructure which supplies our energy.
This company is changing this. By connecting the renewable grid to batteries through technical innovation, they enable a stable frequency to support renewable energy, thus allowing us to fully transition to a green future.
Currently owned by their investors, they have access to a vast array of assets, from instrastructure, machinery, solar farms, batteries and beyond, and with large scale projects and a range of customers in the pipeline, they are now looking to grow their core engineering team, and are looking for an experienced IoT engineer to join them on a permanent basis in the Stockholm HQ.
Their core tech: Modbus, MQTT, IoT, Azure IoT OR AWS Greengrass, BASS, invertors, Golang
Role & Responsibilities
Building the core solutions/code base
Integrating some third party solutions
Programming the devices themselves than interact with the assets,
Work with large data-sets in time series databases, interpreting the data
Forecasting solutions production and price levels
