Integration Developer -

Position Summary
Integrations Developer II, reporting to the Technical Project Manager, is responsible for building and maintaining integrations between the platforms in our tech stack, as well as any ETL operations with outside vendors. Qualified candidates should feel comfortable working as part of a development team and engaging with other members of that team to deliver the best possible results. All Developers must feel comfortable mentoring the less experienced members of the team.



Position Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define/Design
    • Synthesize requirements from business users to write useful work tickets
    • Map out effective and reliable integration patterns that allow for scalable growth
  • Develop
    • Create and maintain integrations according to industry and tool best practices
    • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
    • Create and maintain EDI connections
    • Create useable error handling for all integrations
  • Learn/Interpersonal
    • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
    • Be comfortable working as part of a development team with a strong emphasis on team problem solving
    • Ability to coach and mentor team member as needed
  • Other
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Onsite attendance must be possible if needed. Position is primarily remote.




Minimum Skills and Qualifications
  • Must demonstrate:
    • Knowledge of various Integrations tools (Mulesoft Preferred)
    • Familiarity with integration best practices
    • Working knowledge of EDI Documents and processes
    • Experience with Agile framework and tools (JIRA, Scrum, Kanban)
    • 3+ Years of related development experience required
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    • Self-motivation with the ability to work with a large degree of independence
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in MIS or Computer Science is preferred, but not required
