Java Developer

Location: Poland/ Fully Remote

Salary: up to 200PLN/h (depends on experience)

Our client is looking for a qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Java developer to join the team of software and network platform engineers. The client is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management company.



Responsibilities

• You will be part of the core engineering team that will be responsible for the incremental delivery of a resilient and scalable firewall automation solution
• You will work with RESTful web services, distributed database technologies, and network devices like firewalls and routers to build cutting automation software
• You will deliver incremental business value through an agile SDLC

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in working in a similar position
• Professional experience with RESTful web services
• Great knowledge of Agile processes, with an emphasis on writing high-quality, easily testable code
• Proven work experience in Java development, and experience with test frameworks like Junit, Mockito
• Experience with search engines such as Elasticsearch and with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka is preferred
• Deep understanding of public cloud application deployment (AWS, Azure, etc.) is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
