BI Data Engineer

Your Mission:
- Leverage your expertise to consolidate and report information from diverse databases, including D365 F&O and other sources.
- Spearhead the establishment and maintenance of a forward-looking BI architecture.
- Streamline and modernize existing BI processes while eliminating volatile data sources.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to understand and address their unique needs.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain impactful BI reports.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of our client's business processes to provide invaluable insights.
- Identify, formalize, and address complex business requirements.
- Ensure project timelines by anticipating, alerting, and effectively communicating delays.
- Collaborate seamlessly with business teams to guarantee data accuracy and relevance.
- Provide data restitution and validation support as required.

Additional Activities:
- Empower users through training, enhancing their proficiency in utilizing BI tools.
- Train internal support teams, equipping them to provide level 1 support.
- Collaborate with software engineers to enhance data availability in BI, with a focus on volatile data.

Your Profile:
- Hold a Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
- Boast a minimum of 5 years' experience in BI Engineering roles.
- Exhibit mastery in Power BI and DAX, with a bonus for knowledge in Datalake/Dataverse and SQL.
- Showcase excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, flexibility, autonomy, and enthusiasm.
- Thrive in a collaborative and team-oriented environment, contributing positively to the team's dynamics.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing BI landscape.
- Formulate a strategic action plan, encompassing project timelines, for the BI revamp.
- Implement streamlined tracking tools for efficient project management and task monitoring.
- Oversee the transformation of BI architecture, prioritizing modernization and innovation.
- Elevate and refresh existing reports to meet new standards.
- Address time-sensitive matters with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Acquire background knowledge about our client's business processes and technical environment, encompassing ERP and SQL.
