Senior QA Analyst - 80% Remote - Madrid

Responsibilities:


* Be part of an agile DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility along the complete product lifecycle
* Ensure the quality of our innovative automotive OEM applications
* Test the web applications as well as REST APIs
* Evaluate the readiness to ship throughout the software development lifecycle
* Assess user experience and usability of our platform
* Participate in release management activities
* Identify and implement appropriate tooling and frameworks to support testing
* Collaboratively work with the product owner, product manager and software developers

Requirements:


* Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, or a related field
* Knowledge in JavaScript, optimally TypeScript, Cucumber and Gherkin
* Experience as a QA engineer, test engineer, or similar role
* Hands-on experience with software testing and quality assurance of web applications, cloud solutions and REST APIs

• You are proficient in and use the appropriate testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI, Gatling, JMeter or similar) and/or frameworks (Cucumber, Cypress, Selenium or similar)
• Your knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Java, Javascript etc.) enables you to automate manual tests
• Experience in the database environment (SQL, NoSQL), in asynchronous messaging concepts (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and modern microservice architectures is an advantage
• Knowledge of the relevant cloud technologies (Azure) as well as CI/CD in Azure will make your start easier
• Experience with test automation

* Experience with creating and maintaining test plans and test cases
* Experience with identifying and reporting bugs
* Good understanding of an intuitive user interface
