Key Aspects of the Role

You will cover 4 main aspects; Design, Development, Deployment and Support

• Design- Standard patterns and work in an application team to understand business needs and build services to support them
• Development- Automate tasks to complement and relate to the operating component
• Deployment- Install, configure and upgrade services. Preferably through automation.
• Support- Management of routine maintenance tasks, backup and restore procedures, monitoring configurations, incident response and solutions and the implementation of corrective actions and problem/root cause investigations.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise with Google Cloud software
• Proven experience with building cloud-native applications
• Professional cloud developer certification
• Experience with using Apigee, Solr and Redis
• Familiar with next generation databases, Runtime environments and developer tools
• Good communication skills both spoken and written
