Key Aspects of the Role

• You will design new software that supports the efforts of the firm
• You will solve challenging problems around big data by ensuring the correctness of the data through processing millions of rows a day
• You will create solutions to aggregate and present data to end users
• You will use the tech stack to develop data processing services to increase productivity and efficiency

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in Java programming
• Experience with SQL, relation databases and query optimisation
• Experience with Scala and Big data concepts
• Experience with test-driven development and BPMN
• Familiar with data structures, algorithms and attention to detail for performance and resilience
• Aptitude for focus on quality code writing. Ability to write code with reliability and scalability in mind
• Good communication skills and working proficiency in English
