Scrum Master - Banking & Fintech


  • With 7.3 million private customers, and 500k + corporate clients, My client is an established and modern Nordic bank. Their IT department consists of 1500 employees across Sweden and beyond, with over 70% of those being IT professionals. They are currently expanding their 'payments execution department', an agile release train of8 scrum teams, geared towards developing and maintaining their real-time payments system and develop the infrastructure handle all incoming and outgoing customer payments. They are currently looking for a Scrum master to join the department - this is a permanent, hybird role based out of the Stockholm HQ.

You will;
  • Work in a high performing cross-functional team together with Software Engineers, Business Analysts and Product Owner
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and the team in effective product backlog management to maximize value.
  • Coach your team in self-organization and cross functionality
  • Continuously strive to improve the way of working
  • Inspect and adapt agile principles and practices in the team
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions and retrospectives
  • Coach the team to deliver on set goals and create high value
  • Remove impediments and support the team in their daily work
  • Together with other Scrum Masters within the Agile Release Train develop ways of working and learn from each other by sharing your knowledge and best practices

You have;

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to coach and support the team to coordinate and plan their work
  • Scrum Master experience
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, preferable within the SAFe Agile framework
  • To be self-driven and take responsibility
  • Structured with an interest in details, without missing out on the big picture
  • Eager to learn and share knowledge
  • To be flexible to changes and strong in collaboration, to be a team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Customer-centered mindset
  • Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
